The Posey Field Airport runway in Haleyville, Alabama has recently undergone an impressive transformation thanks to the skilled work done by the Wiregrass Construction team. With over 6,000 tons of asphalt used to resurface the one-mile runway, it is now fully equipped to provide a safe and efficient transport option for aircraft and goods across the state. As a public-use airport, the runway needed to meet specific requirements to successfully transport aircraft from one location to the other, and with the reconstruction, it has successfully achieved that standard. Thanks to the completed project, Posey Field Airport will continue to be a reliable and crucial transportation hub for the area.
