We proudly announce that Chase Burnette, our Asphalt Plant Operator for our River Falls Division, has been named Firefighter of the Year at the 2022 Alabama Association of Volunteer Fire Departments 45th Annual Conference.
This prestigious award is given to a firefighter who has demonstrated exceptional courage, bravery, and dedication in the line of duty. Burnette was awarded for an incident where he and a fellow volunteer, Caleb Hammett, rescued three young girls who had been swept dangerously into the Conecuh River. Without hesitation, Burnette and Hammett strategically descended the bank and secured the girls back to safety.
Burnette’s commitment to serving our company and our community is an inspiration to us all. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition.
