Wiregrass Construction Company was built on Alabamian soil in 1965 and recently spread its southern roots to Tennessee. From a main road to a highway, we are a dedicated team of builders that are committed to using local resources and natural materials to create roads worth driving.

Wiregrass Construction founded by Henry Harper with 1 asphalt plant
1996
Acquired by John Harper
2001
Erected second asphalt plant in Montgomery
2002
Wiregrass Construction acquired by Construction Partners, Inc. (CPI)
2007 - 2009
Wiregrass Construction acquired Lambert Materials, Hickory Bend, Shelby Contracting, Chilton Paving, and Bullard Construction
2011-2017
Wiregrass Construction acquired Lewis Construction, Jackson Paving & Construction, and Allstate Materials
2019-2022
Wiregrass Construction acquired Jim’s Asphalt, Good Hope Contracting, and the Tennessee asphalt operations of Bluewater Industries
2023
Wiregrass Construction acquired Southern Site Contractors and currently operates 13 offices/shops, 1 training facility, 17 asphalt plants, and 9 aggregate facilities
